🌫️ Muzzy Memories

These places bring melodramatic memories — of times I’d spent frantically as a young kid, chasing sunlight through fields and watching the mist rise from the golden land.

Now, what’s left are just memories.
And as someone once said, vivid memories aren’t always the best ones. Sometimes, it’s the bleary, fuzzy, and muzzy moments that hold the deepest truth — the ones that come to you half-forgotten, like dreams you can still feel but not fully recall.

This photo, this morning — it’s just like that.
A picture that’s hazy, yet nostalgia shines through with startling clarity.
The hills that once stood proudly behind me are now almost gone, eaten by our own kind’s greed. Trees turned to roads, rivers turned to dust, and fields — once alive with laughter — now bear the silence of loss.

Where shall we find these views again?
Where shall the children of tomorrow find their quiet corners of wonder?

Nature — that once was so bountiful — now carries our scars.
And I, too, am not blameless. For every comfort, every convenience, every ignorance, I have been part of this undoing.

Nature, we have failed you.
The hills are fading, but the guilt is clear.
And maybe, this time, the silence of the morning isn’t peace —
it’s Nature holding her breath, waiting to see if we’ll ever learn to love her again.
